Pretty pink place cards

My friend was hosting a formal dinner for a special occasion and I made the place cards for the tables. I used a bodoni ornament next to the names, and made a pattern in pink for the inside. The pattern is made up of the letters O and N, a humourous detail for this particular event.

The bride and groom wanted an elegant, but not an over decorated table. I made elaborate place cards that became the main elements on the table. I used silver, transparent & white paper, a satin heart and long ribbons in glasses filled with silver decoration sand.

Glass marbles for the table with the couple’s names in different shades of brown. This idea came from vemod.no
