Simple solution for Lions Club Student Bergen with a new site efficiently built on the standard theme Twenty-Ten. The logo on the site is monochrome, but hovers in yellow.

Client: SV (Socialist Left Party in Norway)

Responsibilities: illustration, typography, HTML, CSS and WordPress

The political programs for Bergen SV and for Hordaland SV have been dressed up in WordPress for easy online reading. The theme is based on Starkers by Elliot Jay Stocks: “The totally nude WordPress theme”. My design is quite simple and the focus is on the text, but I added colourful illustrations and Creighton for the headlines. And made sure the site was accessible for visually impaired users!

Skogen is a nursery school that uses the excellent WordPress theme TwentyTen along with the custom style sheet I made for them. I found some cute stock illustrations to use for the different groups. The font is Crocante from Brazilian designers Ricardo Marcin and Erica Jung. Crocante is the Portuguese word for crunchy.

A Film Director’s Bilingual Website

Most multilingual websites are created as different versions of the entire site and the user can only see one language at the time. For many smaller sites, this is not necessarily the most interesting way to present content. For film director Wong Men Hoi, his nationality is made evident by combining English and Chinese text – instead of separating the languages.

Webdesign for a Faster Railway!

Project: a simple website for the campaign
Responsibilities: logo, design, HTML, CSS and WordPress

Bergensbanen is the beautiful, but terribly slow railway between Bergen and Oslo. Local companies, trade unions, politicians, passangers and environmentalists have joined forces to campaign for a modernization. The coalition is called Bergensbanen 4-2020 and demands the reduction to a 4 hour travel to be realized within the year 2020.

I have also designed the campaign logo.
